Quick tutorial on how to level your shower glass door on hinges. I wasn’t initially intending to make a Youtube video but after posting some quick clips on my Instagram and some friends telling me how useful this was, I figured I’d make a full video in order to provide more help to a wider audience (let me tell you, editing this was hilarious).

I wanted to provide some explanation so you know what you’re doing, but keep it as simple as possible with as few tools as possible which is why I said the level was optional.

I didn’t need it in my case - my tub is levelled so I just needed equal amounts of popsicle sticks under the door to easily fit the bottom shower gasket underneath so the door opens and closes smoothly. I had some shims on the side of the door - in my case at the top - to create an even gap between the fixed panel glass & the shower glass door.

Fun fact about this crowbar, this was left by the construction guys, underneath my kitchen counters under the toe kick. One day the toe kick came undone and I found that! Along with 11 random screws that one day I decided to collect, but I left the crowbar there, don’t ask. Never thought I’d have a use for the crowbar but… I actually used it twice!
