Gaggia is an Italian brand from its creator, was founded in 1947, Giovanni Achille Gaggia, the grand daddy of espresso. They’re not mostly known for their semi-auto, the Gaggia Classic (Pro)
Created the first press lever espresso machine allowing 8-9bar and getting that crema we all know and associate with espresso. Purchased by Saeco in 1999 and then 2009 by Philips who seems keen on taking over the coffee business.
