Gosh darn it! When I recorded this I thought we had been playing for 20-30 minutes, ends up we were playing for 1h15 :o time flies when you’re in VR.
I really like the game, customization is a little bit overly complex but maybe that's just me. It's certainly optional so you don't have to partake if you don't want to. I really hope they add more levels and modes (like the Mario Kart arena battle). With only 7 levels at launch, it gets old repetitive fast.
Also surprisingly, can be hard & long (hehe) to find people to play with! They’ll sometimes fill in the remaining players with more bots…
The game is not without glitches, some glitches I’ve noticed so far:
-Your ranking order sometimes messes up, once I finished 1st and right before the finish line it went from 6,5,8, in the end it showed me as 1st but it was weird
-Load screens often crooked (will kind of give you nausea), other players I was with noted it as well
-My emotes (right analog) didn’t work once in an entire race
-Microphone doesn’t seem to always work in multiplayer, or maybe the other people are quiet. But the times it did work I started a party with a friend then we hopped on and other people joined. But other times I played myself and joined solo, nobody talked at all. The little speaking icon never happened over the other player’s avatars which makes me suspect it was not working
